25 years of public service. The engineer behind Lagos’ first digital transformation. A bold, proven vision for a Greater Lagos.

Born into service. Built for leadership.
Born September 19, 1964 in Lagos, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat carries forward a legacy of progressive public service. His father, the late Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, served in the Lagos State House of Assembly, as Commissioner for Transportation (1979–1983), and as Vice-Chairman (South West) of the Alliance for Democracy.
Named after Chief Obafemi Awolowo by his Awoist father, KOH blends engineering precision with political vision — a rare combination of technical expertise and proven executive leadership.
From the boardrooms of Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley in New York to the corridors of Lagos State House, KOH has always been the engineer in the room — the one who asks not just what needs to be done, but how to build it to last. As Deputy Governor under Sanwo-Olu's #ForAGreaterLagos administration, he has been the quiet force behind governance — consistent, principled, and ready.
